Anh and Chi, located on Main Street in Vancouver, is a celebrated Vietnamese restaurant that reimagines traditional Vietnamese cuisine through a modern lens. The establishment was born from the legacy of the Nguyen family, who originally founded Pho Hoang, Vancouver’s first Pho specialty house. Today, siblings Vincent and Amélie Nguyen lead Anh and Chi, infusing their family’s recipes with contemporary flair and a commitment to community engagement.

The restaurant is distinguished not only for its authentic dishes but also for its vibrant, stylish ambiance that combines a respect for cultural heritage with a modern aesthetic. Anh and Chi has garnered various accolades, including a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition, highlighting its quality and value.

The menu at Anh and Chi offers a rich tapestry of flavors, featuring items like Ph? Hoàng, a beef noodle soup simmered for 18 hours, and Bún Riêu Cua, a traditional crab tomato noodle soup, among other creative dishes that emphasize fresh, local ingredients.

Beyond the culinary experience, Anh and Chi are deeply embedded in the community, with initiatives like “Reservation by Donation” where diners can support local charities through their reservations. Recently, the Nguyen siblings have expanded their culinary ventures with the opening of Good Thief, a new restaurant next door that promises to explore even more daring and creative culinary concepts.
