As they continue to expand their market presence, they are looking for a Vice President of Sales to spearhead their sales strategies and initiatives, reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to drive growth and expand the company’s market share in the eco-friendly personal care industry.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, setting clear goals, and providing ongoing training and development to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and distributors, and identify new partnership opportunities to increase product distribution and visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and brand positioning.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, enhancing brand recognition and establishing valuable connections.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights that could inform future product enhancements or new product development.
  • Manage the sales budget, forecast sales targets, and track performance metrics to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic insights to the executive team, contributing to the overall growth and direction of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably in the eco-friendly or personal care products industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies in a competitive market.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a history of successful partnerships and collaborations.
  • In-depth knowledge of the eco-friendly product market, consumer trends, and sustainability practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend events, and drive business growth.
  • Passionate about sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives, with a commitment to promoting environmentally responsible products.
