As they continue to expand their market presence, they are looking for a Vice President of Sales to spearhead their sales strategies and initiatives, reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to drive growth and expand the company’s market share in the eco-friendly personal care industry.
- Lead and manage the sales team, setting clear goals, and providing ongoing training and development to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and distributors, and identify new partnership opportunities to increase product distribution and visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and brand positioning.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, enhancing brand recognition and establishing valuable connections.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights that could inform future product enhancements or new product development.
- Manage the sales budget, forecast sales targets, and track performance metrics to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic insights to the executive team, contributing to the overall growth and direction of the company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably in the eco-friendly or personal care products industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with a history of successful partnerships and collaborations.
- In-depth knowledge of the eco-friendly product market, consumer trends, and sustainability practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend events, and drive business growth.
- Passionate about sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives, with a commitment to promoting environmentally responsible products.
