Our client is a distinguished agriculture company with a 30-year history of excellence in the industry, specializing in tractor sales. Known for their commitment to quality and customer service, they have established themselves as a trusted name in agricultural machinery and equipment. As they continue to expand their presence in the US, particularly in the Western states, they are seeking a Territory Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and reports directly to the US General Manager.
- Manage and grow the company’s tractor sales within the assigned territory in the Western United States.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including dealers and direct customers.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs of the territory and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and agricultural events to network and promote the product line.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the US General Manager and other team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management, highlighting achievements and opportunities for growth.
- Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on customer interactions and market demands.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural sector or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the agricultural market, particularly tractors and related machinery.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory remotely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Organized and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
