They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial renovation projects from pre-construction through close-out. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for full-cycle project execution, client management, financial oversight, and subcontractor coordination across multiple concurrent projects.

Compensation

  • Base salary of $140,000 to $200,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial renovation projects from initial scoping through turnover with clear accountability and execution standards.
  • Oversee pre-construction planning, including drawing and specification review, scope development, and execution strategy.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids with detailed cost breakdowns and margin protection.
  • Build and actively manage project schedules to ensure predictable delivery and trade alignment.
  • Manage project budgets, commitments, cost tracking, and financial reporting to protect profitability.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, pricing validation, and performance management.
  • Provide hands-on leadership to site teams, maintaining strong field presence and accountability.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety plans and regulatory requirements across all job sites.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early, resolving constructability challenges, scope gaps, and schedule conflicts.
  • Maintain proactive and professional client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project documentation including RFIs, change orders, progress claims, and close-out packages.
  • Drive quality control standards and ensure deficiencies are addressed efficiently.
  • Support business development efforts through estimating and professional client engagement.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of experience delivering commercial renovation or tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong ability to interpret plans and technical documentation and translate them into executable scopes and estimates.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with accountability for schedule and budget.
  • Strong estimating and bid development skills with disciplined cost control.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in fast-paced construction environments.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and modern reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills related to forecasting and variance control.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within regional markets as required.
