With their head office based in Vancouver, they oversee a portfolio of premier locations that set the benchmark for service excellence in the fitness, spa, and wellness industry.

They are seeking a Director of Operations to provide leadership and oversight across all locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring consistency, operational excellence, and the continued growth of the brand. The role reports directly to the CEO and oversees general managers, facilities management, and strategic feasibility projects.

Compensation

  • Base salary of $130,000 to $150,000.
  • 10% annual bonus.
  • 3 weeks vacation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support General Managers across multiple wellness facilities in Canada and the U.S. to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership across all operations-related functions, including facilities management, service quality, and customer experience.
  • Conduct and oversee feasibility studies for new market entries and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to design and implement long-term operational strategies.
  • Monitor KPIs across facilities to ensure profitability, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, streamline processes, and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and HR to align operations with overall business objectives.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of operational leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards across all locations.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and act as a brand ambassador in key markets.

Qualifications

  • Proven senior leadership experience in the fitness, spa, or wellness industry is mandatory.
  • Previous experience overseeing multi-unit operations across regions or countries.
  • Strong background in facilities management and feasibility studies.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S. as required.
