As the current General Manager steps into a regional leadership role, the team is looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant General Manager to take the reins and lead both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $100,000

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of both front-of-house and back-of-house, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and mentor a team of restaurant managers, chefs, and supervisors, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Maintain high standards in food quality, service, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage scheduling, labour budgets, inventory, and cost controls to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Partner with the ownership and regional leadership team to execute business strategies and drive revenue growth.
- Handle guest relations and resolve escalated issues with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
- Develop and implement training programs to support staff development and performance.
- Collaborate on marketing and promotional initiatives to build brand awareness and drive foot traffic.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance management of all restaurant team members.
- Stay current on industry trends and bring innovative ideas to enhance the guest experience and team culture.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a General Manager in a well-known independent or corporate restaurant concept is required.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a hands-on approach to daily operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive team dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including cost control, inventory, scheduling, and health regulations.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a diverse team across departments.
- Experience with restaurant software platforms and POS systems.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
