Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the security company, ensuring all services and products are delivered to clients with the highest standard of excellence.
- Report directly to the President, providing regular insights into operational efficiency, team performance, and growth opportunities.
- Lead a dynamic team of 100 employees, spanning technical experts, security personnel, customer support, and administrative staff.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of new projects and system installations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aimed at optimizing resource utilization, reducing costs, and enhancing service delivery.
- Manage training and certification programs for security personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in security technology, advocating for the adoption of innovative solutions that position the company at the forefront.
- Ensure full compliance with all local and national regulations pertaining to security operations and data protection.
- Handle crisis management situations with discretion and professionalism, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback from both staff and clients and using insights to refine operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Director of Operations, preferably within the security or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large team effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a relevant field.
- Deep understanding of the security industry, including both technological solutions and manned security services.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to the rapidly changing security landscape and introduce innovative solutions.
- Professional demeanour and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
- Experience in strategic planning and budget management.
