As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to join their team. This role will report directly to the CFO and CEO and oversee a team of five accountants, playing a crucial role in steering the financial strategy and operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and operational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and CEO to align financial planning with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making and improve profitability.
- Manage the company’s cash flow, investments, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee internal audits and control procedures to ensure robust financial governance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a CPA designation.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the aviation or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing a team of financial professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- High level of integrity, with a commitment to upholding the financial health and ethical standards of the organization.
