As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Director of Finance to oversee financial strategy, planning, and operations. This role will play a crucial part in scaling the business and ensuring long-term financial stability.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $150,000
- 20% annual bonus
- 3 weeks of vacation
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth initiatives.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing insights to support executive decision-making.
- Implement financial controls and reporting systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and revenue streams, optimizing financial performance.
- Work closely with leadership to assess fundraising and capital investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and cost optimization.
- Oversee financial risk management, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators to track financial health and operational efficiency.
- Lead financial reporting processes, preparing reports for executives and investors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align financial objectives with company-wide operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and investment strategies.
- Experience in the marine, luxury, or hospitality industry is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and strategic decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting software, and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
