As they continue to expand their digital footprint, they are seeking a Director of E-Commerce to lead their online retail operations. This role will report to the Director of Operations and oversee a dedicated team of four people.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy to drive online sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
- Analyze e-commerce performance metrics and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Coordinate with the logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the luxury retail market.
- Ensure the e-commerce platform is aligned with the brand’s image and values, providing a luxurious and user-friendly online shopping experience.
- Handle escalated customer service issues related to e-commerce, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Director of E-Commerce or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and online sales strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a small team.
- Proficient in e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing software.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Passion for luxury retail and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
