Their products are prominently featured in major retailers like Walmart, Costco, Amazon, Sam’s Club, Walgreen, Target, and Kroeger. To sustain and enhance this momentum, they are seeking a Chief Operating Officer based in Vancouver, Canada. This new role is instrumental in steering the company through its next phase of expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational strategy of the company, ensuring effective execution of plans to support hypergrowth.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability across all business units.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to align operations with the overall strategic goals of the company.
  • Drive operational excellence in supply chain management, production, logistics, and distribution, particularly focusing on major retail partners.
  • Implement robust systems and processes to support the rapid expansion and international presence of the company.
  • Spearhead initiatives to optimize cost, improve operational efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Foster strong relationships with key retail partners, ensuring compliance with their operational standards and maximizing product visibility and sales.
  • Lead and mentor a dynamic team, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behaviors to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulatory standards and practices, particularly in the educational and toy industries.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a COO or similar senior leadership role, ideally within the retail, consumer packaged goods, or toy industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and scale operations in a fast-growing, dynamic company.
  • Strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and production, with experience working with major retailers.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing operational team.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and quality.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
  • Experience in international business operations is highly beneficial.
