The company is committed to providing innovative and high-quality products that enhance learning and fun. They are currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer with a strong background in supply chain management to streamline their operations and contribute to their strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives, with a particular focus on optimizing the supply chain and logistics.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company, leading a team of 30 employees across various departments.
  • Enhance and refine operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission — specifically, support better management reporting, information flow, business process, and organizational planning.
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors and stakeholders, ensuring that the company maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility.
  • Participate in expansion activities, including investments, acquisitions, and corporate alliances, leveraging experience in educational products or toys where applicable.
  • Ensure that the company’s operational practices are compliant with necessary regulatory laws and standards.
  • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, preparing detailed reports, both current and forecasting, for review with the CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior supply chain role, ideally within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, with a strong preference for backgrounds in educational products or toys.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a proven track record of optimizing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with experience managing a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of negotiating and building a rapport with people at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
